What's tougher - finding Revs cap information or finding a Revs cap in Boston?

Welcome to Revs Cap - revscap.yolasite.com  - the VERY UNOFFICIAL Revs fan website.

Inspired by Miguel's patscap.com, this is a purely volunteer effort by Revs fans to aggregate New England Revolution current and historical draft, salary, and transaction information from a variety of sources into one convenient place for fast and easy reference. It's also a way to keep track of ex-Revs and stay up to date with the team. Know the whereabouts of an ex-Rev? Discuss it in the fan forum or send your update to revscap at gmail dot com.

Current Revolution Cap Info

Current Roster Breakdown

*Please note that MLS allows teams to have a total of (26) players:

(8)- International Players

(3)- Designated Players(DP) - A single Designated Player's salary only counts for $335,000 against the salary cap.  Teams must purchase the right to use a 3rd DP for $250,000 from MLS.  That money is then split between all teams that DO NOT have a DP.

Players using International Slots:

(6)-  Jason Griffiths, Edgarus Jankauskas,  Sainey Nyassi, Emmanuel Osei, Marko Perovic, Ilija Stolica

"Domestic" Players:

(19)- Kevin Alston, Darius Barnes, Zak Boggs, Preston Burpo, Nico Colaluca, Kheli Dube, Cory Gibbs, Shalrie Joseph, Roberto Linck, Kenny Mansally, Tim Murray, Pat Phelan, Matt Reis, Zack Schilawski, Bobby Shuttlesworth, Seth Sinovic, Khano Smith, Chris Tierney, Taylor Twellman

Additional information on rules governing "homegrown" players and tranfer fees can be found here: http://www.revolutionsoccer.net/search/index.cfm?ac=searchdetail&pid=42479&pcid=115
